Mail Out Apologies

The Chlamydia Screening Team recently issued a mail out to approximately 62,000 15-24 year olds across the region. The intention of the mail out was to highlight the risks Chlamydia poses and the ease of which it can be tested and treated. It also encouraged the recipient to be screened and the methods of doing so.

Unfortunately due to a database error, it appears that several people have received the letter who are not within the age range specified and this has led to concerns from parents of under 15 year olds.

We would like to take this opportunity to apologise to anyone affected and we are taking every step to ensure that this incident will not happen again in the future.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact a member of the team on 0800 0320899
